Guests from Hawaii

Paden (Marcus' next youngest brother down) and Rebecca came to visit from Hawaii last week. We had a really fun time with them. Marcus has hardly been able to spend any time with Paden since they got home from their respective missions, and neither of us really has gotten much of an opportunity to get to know Rebecca. They got to spend some time in the big city, see the sights (particularly fun for Rebecca, who is an art education major), enjoy some food and some good movies at night. Paden also spent his birthday here - lots of fun.

Here is Paden with his birthday dinner - Indian food - yum!

Paden with his birthday cheesecake from Juniors - also yum!

Blow out the candles, pared to two and three.

Paden & Rebecca at the Egyptian exhibit in the Met - Rebecca marched Paden and Marcus around for darn near eight hours that day!

Paden and Marcus are both June bugs - so the day before Paden's birthday we went out to Benihana to use their free birthday meals. Chase really enjoyed chop sticks. We ate the Benihana though - some things are too good for small boys.

Rebecca and I were able to go to a RS activity and make these cool 4th of July wreaths - Marcus and Paden watched Chase for a few hours.

During their stay, the poor kitty had a rough time. She went to the vet after we found an odd balding patch on her ear...the collar didn't last long. Turns out it was ringworm. She's doing dip treatments now and smells like a rotten egg. She's our stinky little princess.

Yeah, I'm gonna photobomb this again...

Oh man...Aunt Rebecca is new and a girl. Better flirt with her!

How you doin'?
