First NY Life Lessons

We haven't been in New York very long, obviously, but there are a few important lessons we've already learned.

1. Movers were key! We loved working with Bailey's in Orem and Allied for the move. Best decision ever. Seriously.

Oh yeah, those are ours. All one million of them :) And we didn't have to carry one!

2. No matter where you are, Costco is nuts. The only difference is here, you have to have one of those rolling cart guys because carrying just a huge block of cheese, chicken, laundry soap, toilet paper, bread, broccoli, and spaghetti sauce through the subway is heavy enough!

3. My hair LOVES New York. And that's not the good sort of love. That's Monica in Barbados kind of love... and Marcus did suggest the braids :)

Ok, it's not that bad, but it does curl in ringlets!

4. Malls here are really nice! Not like Metrocenter. Haha.

5. Ordering from Amazon and other online stores is even more justified! Love that they deliver to your door. (Free ad for Amazon Prime-- you want it!)

We love that smile :)

6. Pigeons poop on everything. Including Marcus. On his first day back in the city. It was hilarious.

I'm sure many more lessons will come, but those are a few starters for your enjoyment :)
