I stubbornly insisted we visit Santaland at Macy's. Marcus had never gone before, and I couldn't take the boys by myself on the train (without elevators). He had the day off after Star Wars came out, so I planned for us to go bright and early the next morning. The line gets insane, so we needed to be there by the time it opened.
Macy's always has cute window displays, and this year, they were themed after the Peanuts.

Chase liked this one with the big piano |
And of course inside was beautifully decorated as well.

Chase liked this squirrel |
I had Chase write a letter to santa. I think it just basically said helicopter inside with a squiggle or two.

He knew how the Santa Mailbox worked! |
We got to the line a minute or two before it opened. Perfect timing. The line was long enough that we could slowly walk through the displays, but we never really had to stop.

Chase LOVED the big train and may or may not have had a meltdown because he couldn't get in the train... |

Checking out the display of snowmen |
|
Ty was a great little companion - just hanging in there |
|
Chase saw more trains and may or may not have freaked out again when he realized he couldn't play with them since they were in a display box... |
Santaland is so amazing. I wish pictures did it justice. And seriously, it's got to be the real big guy there! He was perfect with Chase. I'm sure the pictures they got were focused with smiles. This was the best we could do.

Merry Christmas! Love, Santa, Ty, Chase, and a bag full of trains |
