You're going to laugh when I tell you what I asked for for my birthday from Marcus...
Can you tell what it is yet? :)
I asked for tweezers. Seriously. Ridiculous, I know. But I wanted some better ones and wasn't justifying buying them just because. Well apparently Marcus felt the same way, so he planned a fun afternoon for us, even though he had told me he had to work. Tricky tricky.
First stop was lunch. Marcus picked a place that he knew I'd like, and he definitely was right. It's a chain, so if there's one near you, GO!
Then we were headed to stop #2, the main surprise.
Marcus got me a surprise massage for my birthday! Ahh, so wonderful. Somehow those hours always seem to go by faster than the rest. Luckily it really was fantastic. :)
And we had two extra passes to go to the Empire State Building, which I have been wanting to use, so that was stop #3! We had a really fun time. (It was a little cloudy, but that didn't ruin the view. It just kept the lines short!)
Shout out to Otis Elevators, one of CooperKatz's clients!
Fastest elevator of all time. I'm not sure that's fact, but man, that elevator goes quickly.
Views from the 86th Floor Observatory Desk:
We live across the river to the right, just in case you wondered :)
Proof we are there on the Observatory Desk
It's pretty windy up there-- haha
I had Marcus take a picture of me through the glass so I wouldn't have crazy hair :)
And stop #4: A birthday treat for the walk back home. Yum.
Can you tell which is mine???
Can you tell which is mine???
We came back home to our crazy little sick boy. He was having a fun day playing with Mike and Cozette. Apparently he loved belts...
We finished the day by ordering a good dinner and watching a movie. Fun day! Thanks Marcus! (And thanks for babysitting Mike & Cozette)
Happy Birthday Erica! It's amazing that you live IN the CITY, so cool!
