It was nice and warm in Arizona, so it was perfect weather to play outside with Chase's new scooter. He loves to try out scooters at the park, but he was a little nervous about having his own. Or maybe he was just skeptical.
But then he focused and decided to give it a try.
Oops, sorry Jake. Your car was in the perfect place to help Chase stop...
Chase and Ada also played together. They became great little buddies. Ada would play trains with him and let him watch movies on her iPad. Super cute.
Chase definitely misses all the family around to hang out with, as do we, and the sunshine! It's not so fun to get back home where we stay inside a lot because it's freezing out -- and usually he just has to play with Mom... We have fun together, but we miss having so much family around.
Chase and I flew down to Arizona for a few days after Thanksgiving. Vanessa was getting married, so we had to hop over for that. Marcus couldn't come because he had to work on Monday :(
When we arrived on Friday, we went straight to Mimi & Grandpa's house because Brad, Ada, and Jake were in town. However after all that traveling, Chase was ready for a nap. He was obviously exhausted...
But then he was up again and ready to play.

We got back to my parents' house in time for a Christmas movie and bed.

On Sunday after church, we went back to Mimi's for dinner.
Chase decided he likes to play with drawers.

He was all over the place, taking Marcus with him to places he had played, and chatting away. It was pretty funny, until he'd accidentally hang up. Then he'd get mad, hand me the phone, and wait until I got Marcus or Grandpa back on the phone.
We also found out that Chase is super ticklish. He enjoyed playing with GDaddy.
Back in Phoenix, he helped my mom do her work.
So did Charlie :)
And we ran some errands
And a nice family gave us some tokens to ride a carousel.
Yes, I picked the giraffe.
Chase read some books before dinner one night.
(There are no pictures from going out because he'd just throw food on the floor and bang silverware on the table. Guess we're at that stage. Bummer.)

It was great to be in Arizona for a few days. The weather was so nice. Guess my mom wanted us to stay because she took us to the wrong airport terminal for our flight home :) We made it with just a few minutes to spare before our flight took off. But now we're home, missing all the family we got to see, but ready to kick off this Christmas season!
