We haven't been in New York especially long, but I think it's a pretty significant amount of time having been here for about four years. We've seen two huge changes to our line of the subway. Given that hardly ever happens, it makes us legit. :)
First we saw the addition of new subway cars on the 7 line. Our favorite nasty purple cars started being replaced with newer and wider red cars.
Then the 7 line was extended past Times Square into Hudson Yards. A brand new station! And Marcus and I went to visit the new station on the way to a reception for Veterans Day.
Check it out... A BRAND NEW subway station! And it's seriously immaculate.

The really cool thing about this new station is the elevator. I know, I know, why an entire blog post on a subway station? Because it's exciting for us. And this elevator moves diagonally! Like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! Well, not quite that cool.

He was impressed. |
Gotta love the MTA! But why wouldn't you with brand new stations that took a million years to complete and awesome ad campaigns like this...
